Celebrate 2026 Outstanding Rural Health Champion Luminary Award!

BBAHC is thrilled to share that Dr. Gabrielle Flamm and Dr. Marlena Strandir have been selected to receive the 2026 Outstanding Rural Health Champion Luminary Award! This award through the Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation, is a well-deserved recognition of their tremendous dedication to the Alaska Tribal Health System and the health and wellbeing of Alaska Native people.

The Luminary Awards will be presented at the Annual Raven's Ball and Luminary Awards on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Hotel Captain Cook.

BBAHC congratulates Dr. Flamm and Dr. Strandir for making meaningful and lasting contributions to the Alaska Tribal Health System and for exemplifying our mission of providing quality health care with competence, compassion, and sensitivity.
