Welcome Deanna Mehlhoff

BBAHC is excited to welcome Deanna Mehlhoff as a member of our team.  Deanna is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) who completed graduate school at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Deanna is Samish, a member of the Samish Indian Nation of the Coastal Salish in Western Washington.

Deanna comes to Bristol Bay by way of Yakutat, Alaska where she worked as a Nurse Practitioner. She and her husband, Willie, fell in love with Alaska.  She was honored to accept the opportunity to become the Diabetes Prevention and Care Provider for BBAHC and is excited to provide a personalized wholistic approach to diabetes, pre-diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

Deanna and her husband Willie will be moving to Dillingham full time and look forward to being a part of the community.  Both are outdoor enthusiasts with a love of nature, wildlife, fishing, hunting and appreciating all the gifts Alaska has to offer. Their favorite pastimes include spending time with their two dogs Vador and Chaos, going for drives to take in the scenery, cooking at home, and socializing with colleagues, friends, and family.
