Dr. O'Connell Named 2024 AHHA Paton Award Winner

Dr. O'Connell has been awarded the Alaska Hospital & Healthcare Association's (AHHA) Paton Award, which recognizes physicians who have served Alaska residents for 40 years or more. This is a prestigious award within our state and is well-deserved. Dr. O'Connell will be celebrated at AHHA's annual conference at Alyeska in September. He is planning on attending together with his wife Dee, to accept the award in person. Please take time to congratulate Dr. O'Connell when you see him and thank him for his long-standing service to BBAHC and the people of our region. We are incredibly proud to call him one of our own and to celebrate his accomplishment!

Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation is recognized by the US Government and State of Alaska as a tribal organization under PL 93-638.
