September is Suicide Prevention Month
September is National Suicide Prevention Month.
This month, we take time to remember all lives lost to suicide, acknowledge those who have experienced suicidal thoughts, and support everyone who has been impacted by suicide. It’s also a time to raise awareness about suicide, learn steps we can take in our own lives to prevent it, and share messages of hope to uplift one another.
What can you do to make a difference?
For more information or to access materials to help reduce lethal means, such as a medication lock box, please call the BBAHC Behavioral Health Outpatient Department at (907) 842-1230.
