Summer Patient Travel Advisory

Planning travel for medical reasons this summer?  The BBAHC Patient Travel Department wants you to know this important information before you go:

  • Coordinating care for multiple appointments is required.
  • Non-emergent travel may need to be rescheduled due to limited flight availability.
  • Starting February 1, 2026, travelers 18 years and older who arrive at a TSA checkpoint without an acceptable ID may be required to pay a $45 identity verification fee through TSA ConfirmID.
