Resource To Retain Medicaid Coverage

Alaska returned to the regular pre-pandemic process of Medicaid annual renewals beginning April 1, 2023. Approximately 20% of Medicaid covered individuals in the BBAHC region may have lost coverage during this process. Common reasons for Medicaid terminations have included missing renewal notifications due to inaccurate contact information, and inability to provide required documentation in time. If you have recently lost your Medicaid coverage during the annual renewal process, we want to make you aware of a resource through the Alaska Legal Services Corporation to help you retain the coverage you're eligible for. See the flyer for more information.
